Partners in everything except crime. Coconut Peets helps Rerip with their pick ups, repairs, sales, donations, inquires, shipping, new business, old business, experiments, brainstorming, books…you name it, these guys do it. Beyond thankful to know Billy, Joel, Tony and everyone associated with the Coconut Peets family.
Patagonia Cardiff was Rerip’s first public drop-off point for boards. They helped Rerip grow by promoting the recycling program through their network, other stores (specifically Ventura and Santa Monica), and through their in-store events. We love coming to the board swap! Thanks also for always donating super nice swag to our annual Future of Surfing and/or Iron Mike events! This spot continues to be Rerip’s most active spot, and their ongoing support could not be appreciated more.
Firewire has aided Rerip in picking up hundreds of boards from San Francisco to Point Loma, CA. This allows for the most sustainable transport model of boards from drop off points to headquarters, and working with The Leon Express makes pick ups effiecint and reliable! Additionally, Firewire consistently supports Rerip’s community events by donating a board or two…always the grand finale. Thank you for making such awesome sticks and supporting the little guys while you are at it.
Jed helped get Rerip’s first traction in San Clemente by opening it’s newly remodeled shop as a drop off spot. Since, their store has worked with Rerip for nearly a decade making sure locals have a spot to drop off unwanted gear. Thank you guys!
Completely set up by longtime volunteer Brendan Lange, this shop operates because of his persistence and dedication. We thank everyone involved for providing San Fran locals with a place to put unwanted gear-and Brendan, thanks for storing it until the Leon Express comes and picks it up! Good karma for life!!!
Fins is a La Jolla Mexican Eatery with the best fish tacos in town. Teri is always shooting for sustainable business practices including offering patrons a place to drop off unwanted boards. Not enough? Turn in a board, get a free fish taco!
New to the team, and we couldn't be more stoked! Stewart is working with Rerip by donating damaged boards that would otherwise end up in the landfill. Rerip is able to repair and reuse many of the unwanted pieces, and a few of them may get back in the water! Thank you Sean and the team for reaching out and making this happen!!
Odina proudly makes all of their swimwear here in California and with fabrics that are made from recycled plastic bottles and recycled fishing nets. Always a supporter at Rerip events by donating suits and products year after year. Best suits in the world!
No one does events like Wade Koniakowsky. Sometimes he is turning used surfboards into legendary pieces of art, other times he is using multiple pieces of boards to create a canvas, and most recently he and Norm Daniels painted a double-sided painting and the 4th Annual Future of Surfing. All of the monies raised by Wade at Rerip events he donates to local Charities, including the Solana Beach Junior Lifeguards, The San Diego Center for Children, and the Rob Machado Foundation. Thank you, Wade, for your continued support over the years!!
Jake has kept a close eye on Rerip over the years, and has helped shape their thinking about sustainability and design. Jake, like Rerip, believes in departing, when possible, from toxic, disposable materials, and designing a board with it's end use in mind. Always considering the local environment and craftsmen, Jake has built a brand on science and art. Go Jake!
Jamin and Leif are true vikings--pathfinding the way for sustainable fin development. Supporting Rerip at every turn, NVS gives fins away at it's annual fundraising events, and throughout year is repping Rerip at events and via social marketing media campaigns. Thanks for all the stoke, guys, and see ya in the water, Jamin!
Sanuk has been a supporter of every single Rerip event, from the "Future of Surfing" days to now, with the "Iron Mike Festival". They always provide their freshest and coolest gear, making the volunteers, groms and contest winners stoked to be involved. Team members have also provided mentorship to Rerip throughout the years, teaching them marketing and donor relations techniques. Appreciate you guys!
Couldn't be associated with a better group of guys. Partners from the beginning, the Lifeguards have helped Rerip with all of their Future of Surfing events, and now are partners in the annual Iron Mike Festival. So grateful to know you all!
